For the past five weeks I've been listening to the soundtrack for Rainbow Six Siege and have been extremely inspired by Ben Frost, Paul Haslinger and Leon Purviance. I decided to create a concept operation for fun named 'Dark Moon'. The theme of this operation is isolation, and is about the bond between a person and their pet companion. Set in a native american forest, a lone-ranger named Whistle lives alongside her wolf named Luna. An ex-operator who fought alongside Luna in battle, using the wolf as a weapon against her enemies. She lives alone in the forest in which her long-gone native relatives once inhabited. She takes pride in guarding the forest and living in solitude, until the day the opfor arrived and began planning their next attack using a lone cabin in the woods as their hideout. This was the day Whistle and Luna entered the battle for one final siege.

I tried to take inspiration from the other Operation themes, by incorporating the Siege motif but with my own twist. I also used sounds related to Native American music, stretched howls of a wolfpack, sounds of wind blowing through forests, twigs snapping under the heels of predators and more. I had so much fun making this, and I think i may even do another!
